On Guide My Feet, the highly anticipated follow-up to last year’s critically acclaimed, Steal Away: Songs of the Underground Railroad, Kim and Reggie Harris have enlisted the talents of their long-time friends and musical collaborators, Magpie (Terry Leonino and Greg Artzner) to create a stunning album of depth, social vision, and joyous celebration of the human spirit. Breathtaking vocal harmonies and sensitive musical accompaniment highlight the timeless power of this wide-ranging collection of songs. Newly written compositions by members of the foursome are charged with passion and power and seem destined to take their place in the canon of the folk and political tradition.
